Know the Cost Before Treatment Starts

Dental plans are written in language designed to be confusing. Annual maximums, waiting periods, frequency limits and missing-tooth clauses all change what you actually get back. Rather than leave you to work that out, our front desk will contact your plan before your appointment and tell you in plain terms what is covered and what is not.

Every treatment plan we give you is written down, itemised, and priced. If your plan covers part of it, we show the estimated insurance portion and your estimated portion separately. If something changes mid-treatment, we tell you before we proceed, not afterwards on the bill.

  • Most PPO dental insurance plans accepted
  • Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal patients welcome
  • Benefits verified before your appointment
  • Written, itemised treatment plans with prices
  • Treatment can be staged over time to spread the cost
  • Second opinions welcome, including on quotes from elsewhere

How We Keep Costs Transparent

We Check First

Give us your member ID when you book and we will contact your plan ahead of the visit, so there are no surprises in the chair.

Written Estimates

You receive an itemised plan showing each procedure, its code and its price, along with the estimated insurance contribution.

Treat What Matters First

If a full plan is not affordable right now, we will tell you which items are urgent and which can safely wait, and stage the work accordingly.

What To Expect

How It Works When You Book

Tell Us Your Plan

When you call or text, have your insurance card or Medi-Cal details to hand. It takes a minute and saves a lot of confusion later.

We Verify

Our team contacts the plan and confirms your eligibility, remaining annual maximum and any waiting periods that apply.

You Get a Written Estimate

After the examination we give you an itemised plan with prices and the expected split between insurance and yourself.

You Decide

Nothing proceeds until you have agreed. If you want time to think or a second opinion, that is completely reasonable.

Good To Know

Common Insurance Terms, Explained Simply

These are the four terms that cause most of the confusion at the front desk. Knowing them makes your own plan much easier to read.

If you are unsure about any of it, call us. We would far rather spend ten minutes on the phone explaining your cover than have you avoid a visit because you are worried about an unexpected bill.

  • Annual maximum: the most your plan pays in a year
  • Deductible: what you pay before the plan contributes
  • Frequency limit: how often a treatment is covered
  • Waiting period: time before a benefit becomes usable
  • Pre-authorisation: plan approval before major work
  • Out-of-pocket: the portion you pay yourself
Questions

Insurance and Payment Questions

Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most PPO dental plans. Because every employer negotiates its own version of a plan, the only reliable answer is a direct check. Call or text us with your member ID and we will confirm before your visit.
Do you take Medi-Cal or Denti-Cal?
We do see Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal patients. Covered treatments and limits vary by programme and by age, so please contact us with your details so we can verify what applies to you.
What if I have no insurance at all?
You are still very welcome. We will give you a clear written price for each treatment and help you decide what genuinely needs doing now and what can wait.
Can I get a second opinion on a quote from another dentist?
Yes, and we are happy to give one. Bring any X-rays and the written plan if you have them. We will tell you honestly if we think the proposed treatment is appropriate.
Will you tell me the price before you start?
Always. You receive an itemised, written treatment plan, and we do not begin work that has not been discussed and agreed with you.
